EDIT: Thumbnail is messed up
Lately I have been very interested in film and what not, so a couple of months ago I have decided to shoot a short film. Named Project IRIS, this movie is about how an escapee from a high security laboratory, finds her long lost squad-mate and they re-live the horrors of being under constant watch of the two opposing world forces.
As a high school student, I obviously don't have a lot of money to spend on this movie. So everything is borrowed or very cheap. Let that not fool you! This movie is very high quality since the stuff we use is also of that quality.
This is just the teaser trailer including one of the shots actual movie. I just don't want to give away too much.
Also a quick sidenote: This was during the early stages of the movie and we were still using my old glidecam design (one you have never seen before) made out of PVC. Obviously with a camera that ways 6 pounds, the PVC is going to bend a little so there was some weird shake going on. Now I am using a better design (aluminum) after the feedback I got from using the old design.
I am also in the process of uploading a "Video Update" of what we have been up to lately with the movie. It's main purpose is to show off some editing "skills" and color gradings.
